Daily Activity ( English Version)


Today  I will tell you my activities during my practice in the kitchen, today I came somewhat faster before 7 am so I also woke up so fast because  today we  introduced of ingredients / ingredients by senior because yesterday there was one of us who did not know very well how to distinguish food and incorrectly incorporating food into the food, which in turn destroys the taste of the food that makes the taste of the food turn out to be weird, but it makes us know more of the ingredients more and hopefully nothing goes wrong.


At 08: 00-09: 10 we described various ingredients namely garlic, onion, shallot, gangala, turmeric kencur, and ginger, other ads such as sesame oil, olive oil and soya oil. Various differentiates that the material has different characteristics such as.

1. Garlic has characteristics such as has a white skin and a distinctive aroma.

2. Shallot has characteristics such as having a red colored skin or purplish and have a distinctive aroma.

3. Onion has a distinctive aroma and has a brown color orange but this one is almost equal to shallot he has the same texture with shallot.

4. Galangal or galangal is most different from turmeric, kencur and ginger, the aroma is very distinctive and the texture in this galangal fibrous.

5. Turmeric has a skin texture that is almost the same as ginger and kencur, just course this turmeric can be distinguished from the orange or yellow.

6. Ginger has the same skin texture with turmeric and kencur, inside it is colored puth and has a sharp aroma.

7. Kencur has the same texture with ginger it's just cleaner skin than ginger, because the ginger is more coarse while the kencur is smoother and cleaner.



Today we planned to make a mini burger to help semester four but after Mr. Ical went to our class and start wanting to show it was stove in the cold kitchen that will be used by the lecturer was not working and finally we were sent home, all the products we made today we saved in the chiller that we had time to prepare, we also confused why was told to go home so one of our classmates went back to the cold kitchen to explain and to the lecturer about the problem but still we were told to go home, so today we were not doing anything except prepared that we made before and also introduction of materials by senior and we were told to go home without general cleaning.
